How to Get on the Guest List in Mayfair & Soho
Central London's guest lists aren't one thing. A Mayfair door and a Soho door reward different things, and knowing which is which saves you a wasted trip. Here's how the list works across the clubs we book, area by area.
Mayfair — dressed-up and selective
Mayfair rooms are smaller and stricter, so the guest list here is about arriving expected and dressed for it. Maddox on Mill Street runs a restaurant, a club and a terrace, and we do both guest list and tables there. Itzel on Berkeley Street is a 200-capacity room where, on a busy night, a table is often the reliable way in for a group. On a Mayfair door, being on the list is the start — the dress code does the rest.
Soho — spectacle and a tough door
Soho is louder and the doors are famously selective. At Cirque Le Soir, entry is by application and all-male groups are frequently turned away without a table — so here the honest advice is that guest list suits couples and mixed groups, and a table is the plan for anyone who wants certainty.
