Paloma Chelsea Dress Code: What to Wear on Old Brompton Road
Paloma, at 92b Old Brompton Road on the Chelsea and South Kensington border, is a small, stylish room with a local SW7 crowd and a strict booking-only door. Its dress code is short and clear — here is what it means in practice.

Smart and sexy. Sportswear, shorts, hooded sweatshirts and tracksuits are not permitted. Entry is for over-18s with valid physical photo ID, and there are no walk-ins — without a booking you will not be let in.
| Wear | Leave at home |
|---|---|
| A dress, a fitted top, a sharp shirt | Hoodies and hooded sweatshirts |
| Tailored trousers or clean dark jeans | Shorts |
| Smart shoes, heels or boots | Tracksuits and sportswear |
| Physical photo ID | A phone photo of your ID |
What to wear: men
- A well-cut shirt or a fine knit; a jacket if it is cold out.
- Tailored trousers or dark jeans, clean and well fitted.
- Smart shoes or boots. Paloma's published rules don't list trainers, but in a room this dressed-up, clean smart footwear is the safe call — ask us if you are unsure.
- No hoodies, even a designer one.
What to wear: women
- Smart and sexy is the brief: a dress, a fitted top with trousers or a skirt.
- Heels or smart flats — the room is intimate and the floor gets close.
- A small bag; space is tight in a small club.
- A layer for the street: Old Brompton Road at 2am in winter is cold.

Timing: last entry is 2am
Paloma runs Thursday to Saturday, 11pm to 3am, with last entry at 2am — earlier than many London clubs. Being perfectly dressed does not help at 2:15am, so plan the night to arrive in good time.
Booking, groups and the door
Because there are no walk-ins, a table isn't an upgrade at Paloma — it's the way in. The standard table is priced for a group of up to ten with no more than five men, so groups of guys need to book. You get reserved seating, a host, bottle service and priority entry. Message us with your date and group size.
