XOYO Shoreditch Guide: PARADOX Wednesdays, Tickets & Tables

XOYO is one of East London's defining clubs — a two-floor warehouse on Cowper Street in Shoreditch, moments from Old Street, that opened in 2010 and has sat at the centre of the city's electronic scene ever since. It's built its name on a serious sound system, a roster of residencies and programming that runs from house and techno to disco and beyond. Here's what you actually need to know before a Wednesday there.

Which night — Wednesdays, PARADOX

The night we sell is Wednesday: PARADOX, one of the biggest midweek parties in London. It's a young, high-energy crowd and a room that runs hot and loud — electronic, house and party classics across two floors. If your week needs a proper night out that isn't the weekend, this is the one.

The door (this isn't Mayfair)

XOYO is a Shoreditch club, not a Mayfair room, so the door is relaxed and there's no strict dress code — come as you are, and trainers are absolutely fine. It's about the music and the night, not a bottle parade. Bring valid physical photo ID (a passport or UK driving licence), and note it's over-18s only.

Tickets vs a table

• Tickets — get them through us and walk straight in. PARADOX packs out, so a ticket in hand before you arrive is the quickest way in.
• A table — a reserved booth away from the crush, bottle service brought to you and priority entry. The move for birthdays and bigger groups who want a base on a sold-out floor.

Getting there

XOYO is at 32-37 Cowper Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 4AP — a five-minute walk from Old Street station (Northern line), close to Shoreditch High Street on the Overground and to Moorgate. It's deep in East London, so if you're already out this side of town there's no need to cross to the West End. Parking around Old Street is impractical at night — take the Tube, the Overground, a black cab or a ride-hailing app.
