The Best Nightclubs in London for a VIP Table (2026)

London has hundreds of nightclubs, but only a handful deliver a genuinely premium night with a VIP table, a dedicated host and no queue. These are the eight we book tables at directly — so the prices, the availability and the spot you get are always real, and one WhatsApp message covers the lot. Here's what each one is actually like, and which night we sell it.

1. Cirque Le Soir — Soho's circus-themed spectacle

Tucked off Ganton Street in the heart of Soho, Cirque Le Soir built its reputation on a circus-and-cabaret concept you won't find anywhere else in the capital: live performers, fire eaters, acrobats and contortionists turning the night into a show. Music leans hip-hop, R&B and commercial; the door is famously selective, and all-male groups are frequently turned away without a table. We book it Mondays and Wednesdays.

2. Scotch of St James — the sixties legend

Hidden in Mason's Yard in St James's, Scotch opened on 14 July 1965 and sat at the centre of swinging-sixties London — it's the room where Jimi Hendrix played his first London show, the night he arrived in England. Restored and reopened in 2012, it runs today as an intimate late-night club. Because the room is small by design, Thursday tables are genuinely limited. We book Scotch on Thursdays.

3. Gallery — West London's Best New Nightclub 2025

Gallery opened in March 2025 on Kensington High Street, from the team behind Boujis and B London, and was named Best New Nightclub 2025 by the London Nightlife Awards within months. It runs across four spaces — the Club Room built around a 10-tonne concrete DJ booth, the Cubanista cocktail bar, the members-only Studio and a rare-agave Tequila Bar — plus a hidden pizzeria. Music is house. We book it Thursday to Saturday.

4. Maison Close — Mayfair house club

On Swallow Street, under two minutes from Piccadilly Circus, Maison Close is a house music club first and foremost, wrapped in a French-inspired room of vintage chandeliers and plush red velvet. At around 160 capacity it's small enough that the music and the room actually matter — it draws people who come to listen rather than to be seen. We book it Thursday to Saturday.

5. Selene — the latest licence in town (6am)

Selene is the Greek-themed club on Winsley Street in Fitzrovia, moments from Oxford Circus, spread across four rooms with champagne shows and song requests. The reason to know it is the licence: it runs until 6am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 4am on Sundays — the latest room we book by a clear margin. We book Selene Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

6, 7 & 8 — Dear Darling, Itzel and Paloma

Three more worth knowing. Dear Darling on Jermyn Street (a Cream Group venue, opened 2023) works two floors — house upstairs, open-format basement — and is the only venue we sell four nights a week, Thursday to Sunday. Itzel on Berkeley Street is a deliberately small 200-capacity Mayfair room where, without a table, admission is by invitation only; we book it Thursday to Saturday. Paloma on Old Brompton Road (opened September 2025) is strict guest-list-or-table only, no walk-ins — the club for people already in SW7. We book it Thursday to Saturday.
